Terms of use
These plain-language terms describe the current early release, not a finished archival or executor service.
Use of the site
Use Family Recipe Legacy for lawful family recipes, stories, and related memories. Keep your sign-in secure and do not attempt to access another person's private materials without permission.
Your content and permissions
You keep responsibility for the material you add. You confirm that you may preserve it and that you have permission before recording or sharing another person's voice, image, writing, or private information.
AI-created recipe drafts
Automatic recipe-card formatting is optional and may not be connected in every environment. AI can misread handwriting, measurements, times, names, or instructions. Treat every proposed field as a starting draft, compare it with the original photos, and correct it before relying on or sharing the recipe. The site requires that review before an AI-created draft can be published.
Sharing choices
The app can record immediate, date-based, and age-based recipe gifts. It can email the selected recipient a secure account or sign-in link, but an accepted send is not a guarantee that every email provider will deliver the message. After-death release is not enabled.
Keep another copy
Do not rely on this site as the only home for an irreplaceable recipe, photo, audio file, or video. Export, independent backup verification, and long-term archival guarantees are still being completed.
Availability and changes
This early release may change, pause, or experience errors. Features may be limited to protect privacy, security, storage, or reliability. There is no paid service-level promise during this early release.
Stopping access
An owner can revoke future access inside the app. Revocation cannot erase a copy that a recipient already downloaded, photographed, or otherwise saved. A copy-enabled recipe saved to a recipient's Recipe Box is independent and remains theirs after access to the original stops.
Account help
Automated export and account deletion are not yet available. Contact the person who invited you for help or to coordinate manual removal before wider public launch.
If these current limits do not work for your family, wait before uploading anything important and keep using your existing copies.
